This album was conceptualized by Mr. and Mrs. Switchlake as a reflection of our love and love for music.

Lucia Lodge takes you on a journey that's equal parts lush and heavy. The tracks weave in and out of your consciousness like a psychedelic dream sequence, with samples and synthesized sounds melting together.

The arrangements on this project were inspired by travels between me and Mrs. Switchlake from scenic coastlines, majestic mountain ranges to tranquil desert nights. Hope you enjoy it.

There is something really special about this album. It's refreshing and different in the best of ways. sndtrk's sample selection is varied and eclectic and while the arrangements are minimal, it doesn't sound like it. The drums are abrasive and unpredictable and just a joy to listen to. The overall production is gritty but slick - such a lovely contradiction. This feels like "nu-boom bap", if there was such a thing? Underrated! Paul WH
